Birth Trauma Support in North Wales (In Person & Online)
I offer compassionate, confidential birth trauma support across North Wales, as well as virtual sessions for those who prefer online appointments.
You deserve to feel lighter, calmer and more at peace with your birth experience.
Birth trauma is an umbrella term used to describe negative thoughts and feelings experienced after birth. While it may not meet the clinical criteria for PTSD, birth trauma can still have a significant emotional impact.

Many parents experience:
-
Anxiety or panic
-
Anger or frustration
-
Feelings of guilt or failure
-
Emotional numbness or dissociation
-
Difficulty bonding with their baby
-
Avoidance of places, people, or reminders of the birth
If your birth experience still feels heavy, overwhelming, or difficult to think about, you are not alone — and support is available.

What Is the 3 Step Rewind Technique?

The 3 Step Rewind Technique is a gentle, structured method designed to help process traumatic or distressing birth experiences.
It can be delivered:
-
In person (North Wales)
-
Virtually (online sessions available)
The technique consists of three sessions, each building on the last in a calm and supportive way.

How the 3 Step Rewind Helps
The process allows you to:
-
Revisit the birth experience safely
-
Process unresolved emotions
-
Reduce trauma responses
-
Release negative, heavy feelings
-
Regain a sense of calm and control
Sessions take place in a relaxed, safe space where you remain fully in control at all times.
The goal is not to erase your experience — but to remove the emotional intensity and distress attached to it
