Breastfeeding and Lactation support

Do I come to your home?   - yes, unless you would like a virtual session How much does it cost? -£100 plus 40p/mile traveling Who can be there? -anyone you like, another adult is usually a good idea especially if we are doing a virtual consult or if you have older siblings   What happens during a consultation? I will asses you're feeding, how baby is latching and transferring milk.  Your baby's suck, oral anatomy and how this could be effecting the latch. If I feel there is a need for a feeding plan, one will be given. Oral exercises may also be given for you to do to support your baby You can ask as many questions as you like We can move from room to room if you wish, getting you comfortably feeding everywhere. Can you contact me after the consultation? -yes you can ask questions for as long as you like Do I do follow up consultations? -yes, they cost £80 plus travelling Do you need to not feed the baby till I come? -It's good if baby is a little hungry, however if the baby need a feed before I come then by all means feed them Do you need to be dressed and your house tidy? -nope not at all, be in your pjs, I don't expect t a cuppa and I don't care if you have dishes or laundry hanging around the place What will happen after the consultation? -Within the next few hours I will send you a list of useful links for you to watch /read/ refer to, and within the next few days I will send you a round up summary of our time together, if you need a feeding plan this will be given too you while I am with you Anything else? It's good to have a few random videos of your baby feeding typically, latching, start, middle and end - this way I can show you what I see and what maybe going on etc remember - no silly questions, ask, make notes if you need
